The Saskatoon Children’s Choir presents “United In Song” at Third Avenue United Church in Saskatoon.
The one hundred and twenty voices of the three SCC choirs will present music by Bach, Verdi and Pergolesi, as well as contemporary choral selections from England, Ireland, New Zealand and Spain. Also on the program are Canadian folk songs, and works by Canadian composers Sarah Quartel, Leon Dubinsky, James Gordon and Stephen Hatfield.
The Saskatoon Children's Choir has earned an international reputation for artistic excellence and creative performances that are focused on initiatives promoting global understanding. They have performed on choral stages in Europe, Asia, South Africa, the United States and across Canada. The Concert Choir is preparing to bring Canada’s music to the world this July at the historic Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales.
The choir is under the artistic direction of Phoebe Voigts, with Michelle Aalders as principal accompanist.

If you are a young woman who would like to be a spokesperson for environmental issues and a role model for your community you could be the next Miss Earth Saskatchewan!

We are currently scouting for contestants from Saskatchewan for this pageant. Do you have what it takes to become Miss Earth Saskatchewan and then possibly Miss Earth Canada? Miss Earth CANADA’s mission is to promote environmental awareness among the youth and raise the quality of their involvement. To inform and educate everyone about ecological balance and preservation of the planet through evolving knowledge and communications. To be an instrument of change for the betterment of this planet.

The young women who join us have great ideals and aspirations in their quest and concern over the preservation of the planet.

Miss Earth Saskatchewan is looking for a young woman that can follow the ideals set out by the Miss Earth Canada Organization.

The main objective of this pageant is to invite talented young ladies to a yearly competition where they will share their thoughts and concern for the preservation of the planet. It is also an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and friendship behind the backdrop of multicultural bonding.

The winner, who will become Miss Earth Saskatchewan, will promote environmental programs through activities integrated in their daily lives and through local community events. She will also represent Saskatchewan, along with her runner ups in the Miss Earth Canada Pageant.


This is a night featuring pageantry, high scale fashion show, shopping, food entertainment, photo opps and dancing with the winners.
