Children can learn and have fun at the interactive Saskatoon Children’s Discovery Museum. The museum encourages creativity and learning through hands-on exhibits and programs.
Six acres of displays include restored railway buildings, railway engine, streetcar and cabooses. Open May 16-Sept 30 on weekends and holidays. Guided tours at other times.
This museum displays Canadian Ukrainian culture and educated visitors on the history of Ukrainians in the country. Guided tours are available for large groups and special activities include egg-decorating workshops.
The Diefenbaker Canada Centre is located on the University of Saskatchwan campus, just off the Meewasin Valley Trail. This centre explores the history of Canada's people. Browse through the collections and listen to the interpretive tour. Museum hours are Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed Christmas, Boxing day and Good Friday.
