    Saskatoon Natural Grasslands

    Kiwanis Memorial Park
    One of a number of parks located along the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, the Kiwanis Memorial Park honours the city's war vetrans and there is a memorial fountain onsite. Facilities at the park include a bandshell, a skating rink in winter, BBQ pits, picnic tables and washrooms.

    Beaver Creek Conservation Area

    Beaver Creek has five self-guided hiking trails and an interpretive centre. In the winter these become cross-country ski trails and the creek becomes an ice rink.

    Cranberry Flats and Wilson Island
    Located on the South Saskatchewan River just south of Saskatoon, Cranberry Flats features some sandy beaches that are popular for sunbathing. There is a lookout point offering views of Wilson Island, which was used as a training camp for sea cadets from 1943 to 1951.

    Forestry Farm Park and Saskatoon Zoo

    The zoo specializes in displaying local and Western Canadian wildlife, in its natural habitat. There is also a petting zoo, and a display of reptiles and tropical fish. The park has a stocked fishing pond, and trails which become groomed cross-country ski trails in winter. In summer a miniature train circuits the park and zoo.

    Diefenbaker Park and the Pioneer Cemetery
